MEMPHIS — Paul Young was sworn into office as the new mayor of Memphis, Tennessee on Monday.
Young, who was elected by voters in November, has pledged to tackle crime and public safety in one of the largest majority-Black cities in the United States.
Young said he plans to hold meetings and discuss concerns with the community during his first 100 days in office.
