Georgia refuses to provide funding for AP Black studies classes

ATLANTA — Georgia’s decision to withhold funding for a new Advanced Placement course in African American Studies is one of the latest efforts by Republican-led states to potentially block students from learning Black history, causing some schools to cancel such classes.
