According to the report, Walker allegedly received $535,200 in political contributions that were wired to Walker’s personal company, and came from a wealthy friend who thought the money was a political contribution, according to The Daily Beast on Wednesday.

However, the cash was deposited in an account for a company Walker owned, and was never disclosed in his financial statements, per the Daily Beast report.

Even though the cash was not disclosed in filings, The Daily Beast noted that it’s possible Walker could have returned the money to the donor.
