OAKLAND, Calif. — Tan DaGod, a rapper known in the Bay Area was reportedly killed while attending a grand opening of a beauty supply store in Oakland over the weekend.
The shooting was reported around 5 p.m. on Saturday in the 4000 block of Telegraph Ave. KTVU reported two people were shot, including an Oakland rapper was known as Tan DaGod.
The rapper was pronounced dead at a local hospital, KTVU reported. Alameda County Coroner’s Bureau has not identified the rapper as the person killed in the shooting.
A second gunshot victim was reportedly in stable condition.
Tan DaGod shared a post about the event on Instagram that she would be available for a meet-and-greet at the store from noon to 1 p.m.
No arrests have been made in connection with the shooting. An investigation is ongoing.
