Chance Comanche, former NBA G League player charged with murder and kidnapping, to face judge

LAS VEGAS — A former NBA player for the Stockton Kings, a developmental league, is expected to appear in court on Tuesday in connection with the disappearance and death of a 23-year-old woman.

Chance Comanche, 27, was arrested Dec. 15. He and his ex-girlfriend are accused of killing a woman from Washington whose body was found last month in Henderson, Nevada.

Comanche was transferred to the Clark County Detention Center in Las Vegas in custody from a jail in Sacramento, California.

Comanche played for the Stockton Kings, the NBA G League affiliate of the Sacramento Kings, before he was arrested last month. He was let go after the arrest on Dec. 15.
