RICHMOND, Va. — Levar Stoney, the mayor of Richmond, has announced on Monday he will run for governor of Virginia in 2025.
Stoney, a Democrat, made the announcement in a campaign video released on YouTube.
Stoney, who is currently serving his second term, was the first Black Secretary of the Commonwealth.
