Podcast: Police search for suspects who shot at pastor and wife driving to church

The senseless gun violence that has become all too common in the U.S. almost claimed another life, this time a well-known pastor and his wife in Tennessee.

Police in Tennessee are searching for the suspects who reportedly opened fire, targeting Bishop William S. Wright Sr. and his wife who were driving to church when they were shot at just yards away from their house of worship in Whitehaven.

Wright and his wife were fired at multiple times by suspects in a Black SUV that was traveling in front of them before the shooting took place, reported WREG. Wright said at least seven or eight shots were fired at him and his wife but they, and their vehicle were not struck by the barrage of bullets.
