Indiana State Police are asking for the public's help in locating 14-year-old Bryson Muir, who was last seen on June 16, 2024.

Bryson Muir’s grandmother Cheryl Wright reportedly said she told Indiana police that she suspected her grandson was being abused after she last saw the 14-year-old boy.

Wright last saw her grandson Bryson June 16 when he left her home in Ohio with his mother Kristen Muir.

Wright said she believes Bryson was beaten by his father Daniel Muir, a former Colts player. She also said that her grandson has been “brainwashed” into following his father’s way of life on a compound in Logansport, which is believed to be a religious group, reported FOX 59 Indianapolis.

Wright took a photo of Bryson and reported to police that he had a black eye. She told FOX 59 she didn’t want to let her grandson leave.

Indiana State Police said authorities made contact with Daniel and Kristen Muir, and they agreed to bring Bryson to meet with authorities at Noon. However, at around 11 a.m., the Muirs reportedly “backed out” of the arrangement.

A Silver Alert was officially issued on Friday for Bryson, who ISP said is still considered missing and in danger.

Police are urging anyone with information on Bryson or his parent’s whereabouts to contact the ISP at 800-382-0689 or call 911.
