Vance Johnson has a storied career in the NFL as a wide receiver for the Denver Broncos, and played in three SuperBowl Championship games. Though Johnson was immensely talented on the field and lauded in the spotlight, off the field he struggled with drug addiction and was abusive in relationships.
Johnson released a new book in June discussing his path to sobriety and what he learned in his journey. He spoke with Falisha at BLK News Now! about how he turned his life around and how the tragic death of his son Vaughn affected his life.
