Nonprofit Haiti Action Committee discusses growing conflict in Haiti, mass media misinformation

For more than 30 years, Haiti Action Committee based in Oakland, California, has provided support and aid to the citizens of Haiti amid the Caribbean nation’s struggles to attain democracy and stability.

In the last two weeks, BLK News Now! has shared stories on the increasingly dire situation as murder and sexual assaults run rampant in Port-au-Prince after failed U.S. and international intervention.

Ustadi Kadiri, an activist and spokesperson for Haiti Action Committee, returned for another “10 Questions” interview with BLK News Now! to discuss the latest efforts to stabilize Haiti, and the growing crisis that has no end in sight.
