NEW YORK, N.Y. — James Earl Jones, one of the most prolific American actors of the 21st century, has died at age 93.
Jones, whose career spanned nearly seven decades, included iconic characters and roles in films such as “Dr. Strangelove,” “Coming to America,” and perhaps most notably, Darth Vader in the “Star Wars” franchise.
Throughout his career, Jones received numerous awards and honors for his acting, including three Tony Awards, two Emmy Awards, and one Grammy Award.
