Hate crimes have sharply increased in Chicago so far this year, according to the city’s Commission on Human Relations.

The crimes have notably increased against Blacks, Asians, Jews, and LGBT people.

The statistics were released by the commission on Thursday.

This year, hate crimes against Blacks have reportedly increased 50%, and by 75% with Jews 75%, according to the Commission on Human Relations.
