MONTGOMERY, Ala. — An apparent attack on a Black boat captain at a riverfront dock in Montgomery, Ala. sparked a melee on Sunday that led to multiple arrests.
The incident, which was caught on camera, reportedly began with a dispute over where the boat was parked.
Video shows a confrontation between the captain a one man before multiple people in the group attack him.

A crowd of witnesses, mostly Black, rushed over to the incident and apparently defended the security guard.
By Monday, video of the massive brawl and police response went viral.
