LOS ANGELES — The famous Wayans family, including Keenen Ivory Wayans, Damon Wayans Sr., Kim Wayans, Marlon Wayans, Shawn Wayans, and Damon Wayans Jr., will be inducted into the NAACP Awards’ Hall of Fame, the organization announced on Thursday.

Some of the Wayans family’s numerous TV and film credits include “In Living Color,” “Scary Movie,” “White Chicks,” “Major Pain,” and more.

In addition, former Vice President Kamala Harris will receive the NAACP Chairman’s Award, and Comedian Dave Chappelle will be honored with the NAACP President’s Award, which is presented “in recognition of special achievement and distinguished public service.”

The 56th NAACP Image Awards will air live Feb. 22 on BET and CBS. Black Entertainment Television (BET) is owned by Paramount Global’s CBS Entertainment Group.
