Vice President Kamala Harris will deliver the keynote speech at this year’s NAACP convention in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
Harris will speak on Monday at the 113th annual convention. One of the topics Harris is expected to bring up will be reproductive rights in the wake of the U.S. Supreme Court’s reversal of Roe v. Wade. Key issues such as the economy and gun laws are also on the table for Harris’ speech.
After the convention, she is scheduled to host a roundtable with lawmakers to discuss abortion rights.
This year will be the fourth time New Jersey hosted the NAACP event, and the first in-person gathering since the COVID pandemic, which deterred the 2020 convention.
