Police in Yonkers, New York were caught on camera manhandling a woman suspected of an alleged crime when rapper Styles P, who happened to be nearby, intervened on the woman’s behalf.

Police claim the Black woman, who was engaged in a food delivery on Tuesday, was riding her moped recklessly on a sidewalk and tried to flee officers after not providing valid proof of registration.

Two officers are seen on video forcefully trying to subdue the woman who was facing the pavement.

Styles P, who reportedly owns a juice shop near the area where the incident occurred, confronted the officers on the sidewalk about how they were treating the woman.

The Yonkers Police Department’s accusations about the woman’s registration not being valid have not been verified.
