A police officer in Ohio who was caught on her body camera using the n-word while on duty has reportedly been fired.
The interim police chief of the Cincinnati Police Department made the announcement on Tuesday that officer Rose Valentino was terminated on Monday.

Valentino was in her police vehicle stuck in traffic passing a high school in April as she drove to the police station when she used the n-word, saying “Fucking niggers. I fucking hate them.” In a department report, Valentino made the statement after someone walked by her vehicle and showed her the middle finger.
Valentino reportedly made the remark after she turned on her police sirens, which triggered her body camera to turn on.
“I want to be clear; this type of hateful speech will not be tolerated by anyone who works for the Cincinnati Police Department, sworn or civilian,” said Interim Police Chief Teresa Theetge in a news release.
Cincinnati officials said the Cincinnati chapter of the Fraternal Order of Police may file a grievance to challenge the police department’s termination of Valentino, reported the Cincinnati Enquirer.
