Tucker Carlson continues doing what he does best: lying.

On Tuesday night, the Fox News host claimed during a segment with his colleague Laura Ingraham who was in Minneapolis, Minnesota, that Derek Chauvin didn’t murder George Floyd in 2020.

Ingraham had spoken with officers in the city about efforts to rebuild after buildings were destroyed following violent protests in 2020.

During the segment with Ingraham, Carlson, doubling down on his assertion that Chauvin didn’t murder Floyd, said “we have to pretend” the former Minneapolis police officer killed Floyd.

Chauvin was convicted in April 2021 of murdering Floyd. He is serving a 22-1/2-year sentence for Floyd’s murder. He also pleaded guilty in December to federal charges of depriving Floyd of his civil rights, resulting in a 21-year sentence that he will serve concurrently.

This isn’t the first time Carlson has tried to cast doubt on Chauvin’s murder of Floyd. Months before Chauvin was convicted, Carlson said Floyd’s murder was an “utter lie” and a “carefully concocted myth.”

Facts don’t matter at Fox News. If Carlson tells you the sky is blue, be sure to look out your window.
