NAIROBI, Kenya — A man suspected of killing 42 women, including his wife, was arrested in Kenya on Monday after multiple bodies were discovered at a quarry in Nairobi.
Police said 33-year-old Collins Jumaisi was living near the quarry south of the capital. He confessed to luring and killing the women, some of whom were dumped at the quarry.
Police said they have recovered nine bodies so far.
The head of the Directorate of Criminal Investigations called Jumaisi “a psychopathic serial killer who has no respect for human life.”
Investigators said the alleged killing spree began in 2022 when Jumaisi allegedly killed his wife. The most recent murder was reported on July 11.
