WASHINGTON D.C. — Tempers flared during an exchange between Republican congressmen and Rep. Maxwell Frost (D-FL) at a House Oversight hearing on Tuesday after the young Democrat repeatedly referred to President Donald Trump as a “grifter.”
“You want to talk about making cuts to things like Medicaid, which by the way, over 35 percent of all the children in this country are covered under Medicaid. People like the grifter-in-chief Trump and President Musk are openly using their public offices to enrich themselves to the tune of billions of dollars,” said Frost.
As Frost continued, Rep. Clay Higgins (R-LA) called for the congressman’s words to be removed from the record before Rep. James Comer (R-KY) chimed in and threated to have Frost removed from the hearing by the sergeant-at-arms.
