Blendown Township Police Department released bodycam video on Friday of an officer-involved shooting that happened on Aug. 24, 2023, which left 21-year-old Ta’Kiya Young dead.
The pregnant young Black woman was fatally shot after her vehicle drove away from police during an encounter with the police who were alerted that Young had allegedly just shoplifted, according to The Associated Press.
