Minnesota Vikings cornerback Khyree Jackson was among three people killed in a car crash early Saturday morning, according to police.
Jackson, 24, and two friends who were former college football players died after a three-car crash that occurred just after 3 a.m. near a highway in Prince George’s County, according to police. Isaiah Hazel and Anthony Lytton Jr. were also killed in the crash, according to Maryland State Police.
Police said Hazel was driving the vehicle, and Jackson was in the passenger seat when their Dodge Charger was struck by trying to change lanes at a high speed.
Jackson and Hazel were pronounced dead at the scene. Lytton was transported to a hospital where he pronounced dead.
Investigators said alcohol may have been a factor in the crash. No charges have been filed.
