Judge Valerie Caproni released the written ruling after both the plaintiffs and defendants asked her to reconsider her decision in March, which ruled that claims by two more coaches who joined the Flores lawsuit after it was filed in February 2022 must proceed to arbitration, reported the Associated Press.

In her ruling, Caproni said Flores can proceed to trial with his claims against the NFL, the Denver Broncos, the New York Giants, and the Houston Texans.

Flores sued the league and three teams, claiming the NFL was “rife with racism,” particularly in its hiring and promotion of Black coaches.
