Fulton County, Georgia District Attorney Fani Willis announced late Monday that former President Donald Trump and 18 of his allies who were indicted on multiple felony counts have until noon ET on Friday, Aug. 25 to surrender to authorities.
Willis, who has been the target of racist and sexist attacks over her investigation in the former president, spoke to reporters shortly after a grand jury indicted Trump and 18 others on 41 counts, including 13 against Trump. Arguably, chief among the charges Trump and his associates faced were election fraud and racketeering.
