The melee happened Saturday evening when the riverboat co-captain, identified as Damien Pickett, took another vessel to shore to try to move the pontoon boat, which was blocking the Harriott II riverboat from docking in its designated space. When the co-captain arrived on the boat dock and spoke with the party from the pontoon boat, he was attacked by several white people who were part of the boat.
