A Florida pastor was arrested after he was allegedly caught with his pants down with a 15-year-old boy inside of his car.
Authorities were responding to a 9-1-1 call about loud music coming from a golf course in Palm Coast when a deputy saw a Toyota Camry parked near it. When the deputy approached the vehicle and flashed a light on it, the deputy noticed the vehicle shaking. The deputy saw the pastor, 48-year-old Alphonso Joseph, and the boy, pulling their pants up, according to Flagerlive.com.
Deputies interviewed the two separately and discovered the boy was 15 years old and the two had talked on a popular app gay men frequent called Grindr before the pastor picked the boy up from his house. The app is intended for people who are at least 18 years old.
Joseph reportedly told the deputy the boy told him he was 18. Joseph admitted to performing a sex act on the 15-year-old boy, according to PalmCoastObserver.com.
Joseph was arrested and booked in jail on July 14 on a charge of lewd or lascivious battery with a $15,000 bond. He was released the same day after posting bail, and ordered to have no contact with minors.
