Film producer Chibie Louis-Okoye is riding a wave of momentum after the success of “Kofa,” which won the top honors in three categories at AFRIFF (African Film Festival) — the largest film festival in Africa. The trailer for “Kofa” is gritty and thought-provoking film but packs a lot of mystery. But the story remains relatable to many people in the African Diaspora.

“Kofa” has made the rounds at multiple film festivals, and will soon be released on streaming platforms.
