Police said the investigation is ongoing.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts was asked to call Chicago PD or local law enforcement.

Update:

On Tuesday afternoon, Chicago Police Department confirmed the body of Beard had been recovered from the Des Plaines River near Joliet along with his vehicle. No additional information was immediately available.
