CBC will launch the “Summer of Action to Defend America” on Saturday at the “Democracy for the People” in Charleston, South Carolina.

Most of the events will take place in southern states, including at least 10 cities in Alabama, Florida, Mississippi, and Tennessee.

“During the Summer of Action, CBC Members will work in partnership with city mayors, leaders of Divine 9 organizations, civil rights groups, and community organizers to hold messaging and mobilization events on democracy and race.”
