A White man was caught on video grabbing a young Black man by the neck after accusing him of stealing a bicycle, sparking outrage in the community.
In the video, another Black man can be seen trying to get someone to come to the young man’s aide and asking the White man to stop grabbing the young man who appears scared and confused.
The incident reportedly happened on Oct. 10, and the video of encounter has gone viral since then.
The White man, who is 62 years old, has not been identified but police on Monday reportedly said the incident is under investigation.

The community was outraged the White man was not arrested by police. Protestors held a demonstration on Monday where the incident occurred.
If this were a young White man grabbed by an older Black male, there is no questions he would have been immediately in handcuffs.
