Bodycam video shows Georgia deputy grab his gun after being pulled over by police

RINCON, Ga. — Rincon police released bodycam video this week which showed a sheriff’s deputy being taken into custody over the weekend.

The deputy, identified by WJCL 22 in Georgia as Carlos Petiote, can be heard arguing with police after he was pulled over during a traffic stop.

At one point in the video, the deputy is reportedly heard saying “You will not take me to jail.”

The bodycam video also shows Petiote putting his hand on his holstered firearm while he argues with police.
