A Black mother shared a clip of a Sesame Place worker dressed as Rosita ignoring her children but acknowledging and interacting with other families nearby on Sunday in Philadelphia.

The mother shared the video on Instagram which has sparked outrage, with people accusing the Sesame Place worker of racism.

In the clip, the girls are standing with other families, happily and anxiously awaiting Rosita’s arrival. The person in the costume high-fives several people, who the mother said were White,  but waves disapprovingly at the woman’s daughters and continues walking by.

The girls appear baffled and disappointed when the Rosita characters passes by them.

The clip has gone viral with many saying they will not be visiting the amusement park for children and that the mother deserves an explanation.

Sesame Place posted a statement Sunday on Instagram saying they believe in equality and inclusivity, and the perceived snub by the costumed worker was gesturing no to a repeated request from someone in the crowd to hold a baby.
