
Dozens of bronzes stolen by Europeans from the Kingdom of Benin will be on display on last time in Berlin on Saturday before they are returned to Nigeria.
The items will be shown at Humboldt Museum in Berlin where the have remained for decades. The repatriation of these artifacts is the latest attempt by German officials to take responsibility for their involvement in colonialism.

Thousands of Benin bronzes and African artifacts are still in the possession of European museums. Britain currently has the vast majority of the artifacts and has not returned them after being requested by Nigerian officials.
