Johnny Hollman was involved in a minor car collision on Aug. 10. Police responded to the scene of the crash. Hollman disputed who was at fault for the accident and refused to sign a traffic ticket. During the interaction with police, Hollman was shocked with a stun gun and handcuffed, and became unresponsive, reported The Associated Press.

Hollman’s death sparked outrage in the Atlanta area and spurred protests.
