ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. — Atlantic City Mayor Marty Small held a news conference on Monday at City Hall where he responded to the execution of search warrants of his home last week by prosecutors.
Small said the searches of his home on Thursday were in connection to a “a private family issue,” adding there was no corruption involved.
The search warrants came from the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office, which named the Democratic mayor and his wife, LaQuetta Small, who is the city’s superintendent of schools.
