8 people wounded after mass shooting in downtown Memphis

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — At least eight people were injured after an early-morning shooting Sunday in downtown Memphis, police said.

Police responded to the report of a shooting around 2:30 a.m., according to according to the Memphis Police Department.

Police said the victims’ ages ranged from 19 to 54 years old. Most of the victims were transported by private vehicles to local hospitals.

All of the victims were in non-critical condition, police said.

No information on a suspect was announced.

Police said the investigation is ongoing.
