An off-duty correction officer has been arrested and charged with killing an 18-year-old man who had a water gun in New York. Police said officers responded to a call about a man who was shot in Morris Heights just after 1:30 a.m. on Thursday. Raymond Chaluisant was found unconscious with a gunshot wound to his face, according to NBC4 New York. Officers found Chaluisant about a half mile away from where authorities believe he was shot. Chaluisant was transported to Saint Barnabas Hospital where he was pronounced dead. According to police, Dion Middleton, an off-duty correction officer, allegedly shot Chaluisant. The man reportedly subjected his 15-year-old daughter to physical and psychological sexual abuse for almost an entire day before cutting her throat. White Michigan police officer charged with second degree murder in fatal shooting of unarmed Black man

A White police officer who fatally shot an unarmed Black man after a traffic stop in Michigan has been charged with second degree murder. The incident happened in April in Grand Rapids after the officer pulled the man over reportedly due to an issue with the license plates on the vehicle the man was driving. Dash cam video showed the 26-year-old man get out of the car before he was instructed to do so.
