Eleven people were killed in a string over shootings across Chicago that left at least 55 people injured on Labor Day Weekend. The shootings were reported between 5 p.m. Friday and midnight Tuesday. During a news conference Tuesday morning, Supt. David Brown of the Chicago Police Department said shootings were down 19% citywide and homicides are down 15% when compared with the same period last year.
