Blacks in Italy have expressed outrage after video has circulated showing a man brutalizing a Nigerian man with a disability.

The incident happened last week and began after the suspect, 32-year-old Filippo Claudio Giuseppe Ferlazzo, reportedly became enraged with 39-year-old Alika Ogorchukwu trying to sell items to him and his girlfriend. Ferlazzo approached the man and started to beat him and then use his crutch in the attack as he laid in the street unable to defend himself.

The incident was caught on camera but no one intervened in the attack.

Ferlazzo has been charged with murder and theft.

The video has circulated worldwide, and many Blacks in Europe and beyond are calling the attack racially motivated. Many say Italy is an uncomfortable place for Black Africans to live, and racism is a pervasive issue that gets swept under the rug.
