Police are searching for 3 Black women after a White woman was assaulted in what police called a racially-motivated attack.

The woman was attacked while riding an MTA bus the three suspects were also on July 9 when an argument occurred. The dispute escalated and the suspects began hitting the woman over the head with an unknown object, according to New York Post.

The victim suffered lacerations and was taken to a local hospital.

According to police, one of the suspects said they “hate White people” during the confrontation with the 57-year-old woman who was assaulted.

NYPD’s Hate Crime Task Force is currently investigating.

New York Police Department issued a press release saying, “The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in ascertaining the whereabouts and identity of three individuals depicted in the attached photo and video in connection to an assault that occurred within the confines of the 102nd Precinct.”
